Ottawa International Animation Festival
September 18, 2013 until September 22, 2013

From September 18th to 22nd, the nation's capital will once again become the center of the animation universe. The Ottawa International Animation Festival (OIAF) is the largest event of its kind in North America, a major film event attracting attendees from around the world. Film buffs, art lovers and cartoon fans won't want to miss this year's great line up of screenings.

By far Ottawa's biggest and most prestigious film festival – and one of the Canadian Film Institute's most beloved events – the OIAF is five days chock-full of films, parties, panels, filmmakers, and fun! See some of the best moving, daring, and thought-provoking moving image art alongside fantastical music videos, cartoons, and blockbuster films. This year's venues include the ByTowne Cinema, Canadian Museum of Nature, Arts Court, National Gallery of Canada, and Empire 7 Theatres.

Highlights include the world premiere of Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2, a retrospective of Mary & Max director (and OIAF jury member) Adam Elliot, a look at the short animated works of Spanish artists, as well as the 10th annual edition of The Animation Conference.
