Starring long-time Sandor collaborator Dezsö Garas, NOAH’S ARK  is a heartwarming film about an old man and his granddaughter who enter a television contest for “The World’s Greatest Grandpa.”  Living in a crowded, dilapidated apartment with a wide cross-section of people – Hungarians, Gypsies, Chinese, Jews – proves to help the old man, as his varied neighbours pull together to aid him in his goal.  NOAH’S ARK is a film about the importance of community and the joy of life, whatever the age.
