After refusing invitations to attend a number of major international literary awards, Daniel Mantovani, a rather reclusive Nobel Prize winner for Literature now based in Barcelona, decides to accept one: to visit his hometown in Argentina, which has been the inspiration for all of his books. Trouble is, it’s a place he has not set foot in for 40 years. It may turn out that accepting this invitation will be the worst decision he has ever made. He soon learns, in both amusing and less than pleasant ways, to expect the unexpected when you have used real people as models for characters in your novels!

Starring WILD TALES’s Oscar Martinez (who won a Sur Award for Best Actor for this DISTINGUISHED role), this film captured the Spanish Film Academy’s 2017 Goya Award for Best Spanish Language Foreign Film.
