Omerta is a word for the oath of silence a member of the mafia takes, and breaking this oath entails death.  It is also associated with insubordination, betrayal and everything that may go against what the families have agreed.  OMERTA, the film, is a tough, hardboiled drama about Rolo, a bodyguard of one of the best known gangsters in Havana during the 1950s, who, after the triumph of the Revolution, feels out of place in a society that condemns all he represents.  In this strange new environment, Rolo has one final mission: recover the gold hidden by his former boss after the revolution.  English sub-titles.
