Agrestiís film takes place in 1969 and follows Valentin, an intelligent and lonely young boy living with his grandmother after his parents divorced. Valentin never sees his mother, as she was chased out of the home by Valentinís aggressive father, who now spends little time at home, spending his time attempting to live the life of an Argentine playboy.
