Maeve is caught between being a girl and being a woman. The film starts as Maeve uses her snow-white bra for the first time, as she steps out into the world as a young woman. Her friends are more experienced than her, as they already wear bras and have already had experiences with boys. Maeve tries to catch up with her friends but loses her priorities on the way. Featuring known actors such as Aidan Quinn (LEGENDS OF THE FALLl) and Jared Harris (THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTION), director Marian Quinn’s somewhat semi-autobiographical film is a coming of age story with heart and humour.
