When eight year-old Karo’s parents separate, she is devastated. She only sees her father on weekends now that she and her mother have moved into an apartment. Unsure of what to do, she turns on the walkie-talkie her father gave her and pours out her heart in the hope that God is listening. She is surprised when someone actually answers. She believes it’s God himself. As she soon discovers, however, it is not really God, but someone who may be even better. A fascinating and original drama about a common parental situation, handled with humour and humanism.

Lorsque les parents de Karo, huit ans, se séparent, elle est anéantie.  Elle ne voit désormais son père que les week-ends, et sa mère et elle ont déménagé dans un appartement.  Ne sachant que faire, elle se confie au walkie-talkie que son père lui a donné en espérant que Dieu l'entende.  À sa surprise, quelqu'un répond. Ce n'est pas Dieu – mais peut-être quelqu'un de mieux. Un film pour toute la famille.
