Set in the Polish town of Jasminow, JASMINUM is a comedic tale from Polish magic realist master Kolski about a young girl whose inquisitive mind and creative personality wreaks havoc on the monotonous routine of five monks.  When young mother Natasha (Grazyna Blecka-Kolska) arrives at the monastery with her five year-old daughter Gienia, the lives of the five monks who attend it – some of whose names match their scents (Brother Plum, Brother Cherry) – are rather ordered, if not dull.  It doesn’t take long, however, for Gienia to introduce some amusing anarchy into the mix.  A contemporary, magical story for the ages.

Situé dans la ville polonaise de  Jasminow, JASMINUM est un conte comique du maître polonais Kolski à propos d'une jeune fille dont l'esprit curieux et la personnalité créatrice chamboulent le train-train quotidien de cinq moines.  Lorsque la jeune mère Natasha (Grazyna Blecka-Kolska) arrive au monastère avec sa fille Gienia, cinq ans, la vie des cinq moines qui en prennent soin – dont certains ont des noms correspondant à leur odeur (Frère Prune, Frère Cerise) – sont bien réglées, sinon ennuyeuses. En un rien de temps Gienia injectera une amusante dose d'anarchie dans ce mélange.  Une histoire magique contemporaine pour tous.
