Canada's Top Ten
Wednesday, 23 February 2011
Just a quick announcement about Canada's Top Ten programme. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the March 11th screening date of Shorts Programme B and THE HIGH COST OF LIVING has been cancelled. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

But now the good news: there's still one day left to catch the best that Canada had to offer in 2010! This Saturday, February 26th, come and see Les amours imaginaires (Heartbeats) at 19:00 / 7pm, and Shorts Programme A at 21:00 / 9pm. Both will be at the Library and Archives Canada, 395 Wellington St., Ottawa.

Stay tuned for more news on our upcoming events and developments.

Happy New Year!
Thursday, 13 January 2011
Welcome to 2011!

Here at the CFI, we're already in the thick of things, planning and programming for many upcoming events.

On January 29th, the Best of the Ottawa International Animation Festival swings by Ottawa during its Canadian tour. A program of exception award-winning shorts from around the world, the 2010 Best of Ottawa is the best way to catch what you might have missed during the Festival in October. Click here for more information and the full program listing.

To get over the February blues, Canada's Top Ten -- selected by the Toronto International Film Festival -- will highlight the strong Canadian cinematic contributions from the past year.

March will bring the 15th Latin American Film Festival, and hot on its coattails is DiverCiné, "A World View of la francophonie".

Keep your eyes peeled, because more details and events will be posted here soon!
