June 2 - 4, 2017

Arts Court Theatre

The European Union Delegation to Canada, the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) and the diplomatic missions of EU Member States, in collaboration with the Canadian Film Institute, are pleased to present the fourth edition of the European Union Short Film Festival.

The European Union Short Film Festival features three engaging programs of short films from European Union Member States, each showcasing works in a variety of short film genres and styles, including drama, documentary, and animation. These films, from both prominent and emerging filmmakers, will be presented in their original language with English sub-titles. A taste of European traditional food will begin each night of great cinema, courtesy of the diplomatic missions of EU Member States. The event is open to the public free of charge and is held June 2 through to the 4th at Arts Court Theatre and Studio, 2 Daly Avenue, in Ottawa.

Free entry. Doors open for Tastes of Europe, followed by scheduled screenings at 7:00 p.m. Seating is limited, so please arrive 15 minutes early to guarantee a spot.
